About us
GlarePROTECT
At GlarePROTECT , we are dedicated to enhancing the beauty and functionality of outdoor lighting with innovative solutions that prevent glare and reduce light pollution. Our mission extends beyond aesthetics, as we strive to preserve the tranquility and natural rhythms of the nighttime environment.
Our Commitment
At GlareProtect, we believe outdoor lighting should enhance—not harm—our surroundings. That’s why our shield isn’t just about eliminating glare; it’s also about protecting the natural world around us. Artificial lighting is a leading cause of disorientation in wildlife, especially sea turtles, migratory birds, and other sensitive species.
By reducing light pollution at the source, GlareProtect helps preserve natural rhythms, supports ecological health, and promotes responsible outdoor design. Whether you're lighting your home or designing an entire community, every shield installed is a small act of environmental stewardship.
Our Mission
At GlareProtect, our mission is to deliver a smart, unobtrusive solution that reduces glare and light pollution from landscape lighting. We’re committed to helping homeowners and communities enhance curb appeal, protect wildlife, and create safer, more sustainable outdoor spaces.
Designed, Patented and produced in the USA
GlareProtect is a U.S.-based company — proudly designed, patented, and manufactured in the USA.
We're committed to improving outdoor lighting while reducing light pollution — helping homeowners, communities, and ecosystems thrive. Together, we can create safer, more sustainable environments for people, wildlife, and future generations.

Product Overview

Crafted from durable, UV-resistant, recycled plastic, GlarePROTECT withstands environmental elements, ensuring long-lasting performance. It not only reduces light pollution—protecting wildlife and maintaining natural nightscapes—but also enhances safety by minimizing glare for the family at home, drivers and pedestrians.
With a sleek design that integrates seamlessly into any setting, GlarePROTECT offers both functionality and style, making it an essential upgrade for your outdoor lighting needs.
HOA Compliance
Many HOAs require landscape lighting where the light source is not visible. GlarePROTECT shields the light source, reduces glare, and delivers a cleaner, HOA compliant appearance.
Typical HOA ruling: "All landscape lighting must be installed in a way and maintained in a way that prevents light pollution. Homeowners must aim all fixtures, so the light beam stays on the owner's property. Light bulbs may not be directly visible from streets, sidealks, lakes, or neighboring homes."
Easy Installation
Installing GlarePROTECT is a breeze. No tools required.
Just follow these simple steps
- Identify the light source you want to shield
- Insert the GlareProtect Shield with the spikes into the ground next to the light
- Adjust the shield to block or direct the light beam as desired
